Building a successful landscape design requires a variety of skills, since landscapes are composed of a variety of elements.

“Hardscapes,” including terraces, walkways and paths, decks, driveways, walls, garden edges, water features, etc. require the skilled work of masons, builders, and other craftsmen. Excavation, site preparation, and grading work are often required as well. “Softscapes,” including planting beds, gardens, turf lawn, and the soils required to maintain these plants require the work of dedicated horticulturists and knowledgeable gardeners.

Beresford Landscape Design (BLD) can offer all the services required to construct beautifully designed landscapes. We offer expert masonry teams, horticultural teams, and all of the equipment and machinery necessary to complete extensive earthworks, site preparation, drainage improvements, and more.

BLD can also act as a client’s general landscape contractor. BLD can offer to manage a project from design, through completed construction, offering guidance and recommendations for clients through the process. As projects approach construction, BLD can solicit bids within our trusted network of builders, subcontractors, and specialists. We can also coordinate with cities and towns to receive proper project approval and permits as necessary.

We install landscapes not only that have been designed by BLD, but we also install landscapes designed by other firms. In these instances, we will coordinate with the designers to ensure that the final installed product is in line with the original design intent.
